Advertise on Mitochondrial Disorder Information |
G'day from Perth,
This is the second Website I have built to provide information to other parents of children who have discovered that their child now has a Mitochondrial disorder.
The previous site was closed December 2007 as Hackers targeted our site and continued to redirect visitors to undisirable locations on the net. I didn't have the skills or the support from my host to defeat them so I took a tactical pause and I have used this time to build a better resource. I'm a great believer in the what goes around comes around methodology.
This Site is hosted with a client focused company, this company "sitebuildit" cares about it's clients security and business. The primary focus of this site is to provide parents with a starting point in their search for information on Mitochondrial disorders. I keep maintaining this site because I know that this information has helped many Australian and overseas visitors from all over the Globe.
There is no " i " in team we need everybody affected by this condition from around the World to contribute in any way they can, this is part of my contribution to finding a cure. The parents of Australian Mito kids are burning the candles late at night. You are not alone in your search regardless of where you live we the MITO families are only seperated by distance, however we are joined in our desire for a cure.
Some people have asked me why I have advertising on this information site, the simple answer is that it goes towards paying for the hosting and upkeep of this information website. This website alone could never pay me for the time I dedicate to this task.
I have developed a new long term vision for this Mitochondrial information website. One day Jack will be maintaining this site and many other normal capitalist income generatng business's on the internet, he will have a team of other less abled young Australians creating their own incomes and building futures, bright futures free of a dependancy culture and a disability pension keeping them one step above poverty.
A less abled child can still leap over tall buildings in their mind and also on the internet. There are no barriers in the minds of our children only the ones society tries to create. The internet is still very much in it's infancy, there is great wealth to be created.
The income earned from advertising on this website will become my Son Jack's wage. I have 15 years to build a internet business that he can run and then teach other less abled young people to do the same. I feel he will be earning a good wage long before he is eighteen.
So why advertise on this site, only you can make that decision. I can certainly give all our stats and many valid reasons should you be interested in leasing some space. Many business have choosen to place advertising with us because they believe the products they offer with benifit MITO Kids and their families.

Your hosting will be provided free of charge. I will provide you with all the tools and information to get you started. ADVERTISING OF OTHER CONDITIONS We will accept and host information that provides parents with advice, providing the Condition or Disorder is Related to Mitochondrial Disorders. This service will be provided free. I am also able to provide advice to other parents or support groups for the most effective way to setup a website information service that will not break the bank and is easy to maintain. This service will be provided free. PAID ADVERTISING Traditional Paid Advertising - will be accepted on this website providing it is targeted to services or equipment that less abled children or young adults require. Please contact Trevor to discuss how we can help you to help others. An example of tradition advertising is the Tutor.com banner add to the right. This service is one example where less abled kids can gain some avantage to keep up with their peers. |
